18 Chapter 1 | General introduction posttraumatic stress reactions in accidentally injured children up to 8 years old. The results of this study are outlined in Chapter 6 . In Chapter 7 , we discuss the main themes and issues regarding posttraumatic stress following accidental injury in children and their parents that emerged from our findings. This chapter also includes clinical implications of the findings, a reflection on the limitations of the studies, and suggestions for future research.
