107 Efficacy of pro- and anticoagulant strategies in plasma 6 In conclusion, our data confirm a hypercoagulable profile of patients with cirrhosis and patients with HPB cancer, which remains present during and after major surgical procedures. We demonstrate profoundly altered in vitro efficacy of commonly used anticoagulants, with indications that LMWH and rivaroxaban require higher dosing in patients that underwent HPB surgery compared to the general population requiring these anticoagulants. We also demonstrate that in case of a perioperative bleeding complication, PCCs are much more potent than FFP or rFVIIa. Our results should be seen as a starting point for clinical studies aimed at improved pharmacological hemostatic management of patients undergoing HPB surgery.
