226 Chapter 8 Appendix 1 Two lifting devices are available at KLM. One is a lifting table, that can adjusted in height to pull the suitcases on and off (Figure 1). The second one works with vacuum that sucks up the suitcase and by pressing a button releases the suitcase again (Figure 2).
