Effacing risk factors for occupaonal low-back pain in the work environment remains a challenge. Therefore, the European consorum SPEXOR aims to design a trunk exoskeleton for low-back pain prevenon and vocaonal re-integraon. This thesis studies the potenal of a passive trunk exoskeleton and provides insight into factors that influence its usability and acceptability. How to bridge the gap between biomechanical soluons and end-users’ percepons to raise chances of success of a trunk exoskeleton?
