Cytidinediphosphate- diacylglycerol synthase (CDS), an enzyme involved in cardiolipin synthesis did not change after PAB. Also, cardiolipin remodelling enzymes phospholipase A 2 (PLA 2 ) and tafazzin (TAZ) were unaffected at the mRNA level ( suppl. table 2 ).
