229 Participants differed in age at diagnosis, education level and treatment (Table 2.). None of the participants knew another person with the same condition before the focus group. Most participants were treated surgically (n = 8) or received a conservative management (n = 4). Three participants received a combination of therapies. A minority of the participants sought support in the paramedic field (e.g., physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker, and dietician). Table 2.
