Age distribution, disease phenotype and disease duration were not significantly different between fatigued and non-fatigued patients. A significant larger proportion of fatigued patients had higher disease activity scores compared to non-fatigued patients (74% vs. 37%, p=0.003). Fatigued and non-fatigued IBD patients did not differ in haemoglobin Z- score nor in ferritin concentration and had similar proportions with high faecal calprotectin values (>500  g/g). Chapter 6 106
