104 Chapter 4 Maternal early pregnancy lipid profile The independent variables included in this study consisted of the following maternal early pregnancy lipids: TC, apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1), ApoB, TG and FFA. Maternal early pregnancy lipid levels were determined based on non-fasting blood samples collected at a median of 13 weeks of gestation (IQR 12-14 weeks).
