Whatever your reasons might be for the choice of area, one thing that is evident is that you stepped back to think critically about the two areas? Most probably you also critically analysed the people that live in these areas and the properties that they might have or not have. The process of you stepping back to critically think and analyse the characteristics of people you find in these areas, their level of education, the wealthy they have or not have and reflecting on how they will benefit from the project is what you can refer to as critical reflection. In other words, you engaged in critical reflection. Therefore critical reflection denotes a higher level of reflection beyond “critical thinking”.
