Delivery and adoption of the ACTY   61 3 CONCLUSION In summary, we found the dedicated transitional year in acute care to provide a focus on an interdisciplinary domain of medicine, supported by learning objectives, aligned assessment and tailored teaching sessions, and by offering a solid learning community. Enhancing delivery of the program in the workplace by increasing visibility of the program, elaborating on workplace assessment and extending hands-on experience of students, can further unlock the potential of this final medical school year design.
