Group comparisons were made using Chi-square or Mann–Whitney U test as appropriate. Survival analyses were performed using the (reversed) Kaplan– Meier method and comparisons were made using log-rank test. Multivariable analysis using the Cox proportional hazards model was performed on variables with a P < 0.1 on univariable analysis. Two-sided P-values > 0.05 were considered statistically significant. All statistical analyses were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25.0 for Windows (IBM Corp, Armonk, NY).
