410 CHAPTER 20 patients with and without frailty, diagnosed with CGA. Frail patients were more likely to be sarcopenic (44% versus 21%, p<0.05), to be older of age (mean 83.5 years versus 79.0 years; p<0.05), to be female (69% versus 38%, p<0.05), to have a low SMI at diagnosis (90% versus 68%, p<0.05), to be frail according to the Fried criteria (49% versus 6%; p<0.00), and the GFI (77% versus 24%; p<0.00).
