Ik zie dit nog steeds als een van de meest leerzame en bijzondere dagen van mijn PhD en ben blij dat ik hierbij mocht zijn. Ook de studenten die ik de afgelopen jaren hebmogen begeleiden wil ik bedanken voor hun onmisbare hulp. Jill , Joëlle en Vince: jullie hebben allemaal een significante bijdrage geleverd aan een van de hoofdstukken van dit proefschrift, zonder jullie had dit eindproduct er niet gestaan. Ook van "de andere kant" wil ik een aantal essentiële mensen bedanken. Marco , bedankt voor al het werk dat je hebt geleverd voor het RP17-project. Ik herinner me nog de blik op jouw gezicht toen ik voor het eerst aan kwam zetten met een van de vele grote familie stambomen. De impact was duidelijk, en we waren vastbesloten dit samen op te lossen, en dat is gelukt! Dankjewel voor je belangrijke bijdrage hieraan. Ellen , jij zorgt ervoor dat alles altijd op rolletjes loopt. Heel veel dank voor het beantwoorden van de tientallen vragen die ik de afgelopen jaren gesteld moet hebben. Zeinab , our PhD-trajects were almost in sync and I am really happy we could always discuss our struggles, problems, doubts, or victories together. It was nice having someone around that was in the same situation. Sometimes it may have felt as a never-ending story, but we made it! Thank you for being such a warm and friendly colleague and I wish you all the best with your new position in Utrecht.
