339 Accuracy of using routinely collected electronic healthcare data to identify cardiovascular endpoints predictive values ranged widely and positive predictive values were high. Similar results were found using adjudicated endpoints. Cumulative survival probabilities based on both data collection methods showed high agreement. Conclusion and relevance: Routinely collected healthcare data from EHRs could be used to accurately collect strictly defined endpoints for a cardiovascular outcome trial. The method was less sensitive in detecting broadly defined endpoints. Using routinely collected healthcare data may complement data collection in clinical drug research and thereby decrease operational costs without affecting validity of results.
