Ook vind ik je gewoon een heel fijn persoon. Je straalt zoveel enthousiasme uit en toont veel betrokkenheid. Dat waardeer ik heel erg! Dom , since we both started our PhD at the same time, we underwent comparable processes. It was really nice to talk to you from time to time about our shared experiences; that meant a lot to me. Furthermore, you have played an important role in connecting us PhD’s in times of corona. I am grateful for your initiative to have regular online Fabulinus meetings, which I really enjoyed. Also, thank you for helping me out in the last fewmonths with all my questions around submitting the dissertation and preparing for the defense; your information was extremely helpful. Shanshan , thank you for all our good chats. It is such a great pleasure to have you as a colleague. Not only are you really funny, you are also very generous, for example by sharing the most delicious chocolates, which are impossible to resist. Also big thanks for your major role in organizing the online birthday meetings within our group. Those moments where we sang happy birthday behind our screens were one of my favorite (though really challenging)! I also really enjoyed our dumpling evenings: thank you for your hospitality. Elisa en Lydia , ik heb jullie echt gemist tijdens mijn laatste jaar! Bedankt voor jullie gezelligheid op onze werkkamer in het Langeveldgebouw en de leuke koffie- en lunchpauzes daarbuiten. Sandra , wat is het fijn om zo’n vrolijke en betrokken collega te hebben zoals jij. Al snel voelde ik een goede klik met jou. Hoe kan het ook anders, want je bent een van de meest sociale personen die ik ken. Ook bedankt voor jouw feedback op de introductie van mijn proefschrift. Evi , het was super fijn om in tijden van lockdown tijdens het werken samen regelmatig een frisse neus te halen in onze oude fantastische wijk Lombok.
