Almost half of them expelled the balloon within one minute and the other half in more than one minute or not at all. One patient showed normal ‘relaxation’ of the puborectalis muscle when straining on TPUS, whereas he was not able to expel the balloon within one minute. Table 5. Fourteen patients were classified as ‘indifferent’ of whom nine was not able to expel the balloon within one minute.
