Chapter 8 200 Quality of life In the total patients’ group, the mean scores significantly improved in the domains of the RAND-36 from baseline to 1-year follow-up, bodily pain, health change (p<0.001), physical functioning, physical role, general health, social functioning, emotional role, and mental health (p<0.05) (Table 3, Figure 3).
