170 Chapter 5 Correlation between plasma lysoGb3 and Fazekas score on brain MRI We studied the association between plasma lysoGb3 levels and Fazekas score (1-6) on cerebral MRI, a reflection of the white matter lesion load (WML), in untreated FD patients (n=77, median measurements 2 per patient, range 1-7). Higher plasma lysoGb3 levels were significantly associated with a faster increase in WML over time (fig 6, p=0.003).
