d6 containing 6.25·10 −5 mol of DiPh was added, and 0.25 mL of DMSO-d6 to reach a total volume of 1.0 mL. The solution used for 1H NMR measurements thus contained 62.5 mM of indene, indenyl anion, and DiPh when reaction between the indenyl anion and DiPh commenced.
