Discussion This study showed the importance of money related goals as most pressing issue in social-care clients. Among 160 unique app users, 58% revealed the importance of money related goals as most pressing issue. Most frequently used words were debts (n = 401), finances (n = 311) and expenses (n = 293). Over time, money related goals decreased while housing and health gained importance. Survey results showed little change in intention to quit smoking; the intention to increase fruit and vegetable intake increased slightly. A strength of this study is the collaboration with local stakeholders.
