About the author 433 A About the author Nienke Wilhelmina Boderie was born on April 1st 1995 in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands and grew up in Aalst, Gelderland. After completing her bachelor in Health and Society at Wageningen University in 2016, she moved to Rotterdam for the research master in health sciences at the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences (NIHES). During her master thesis she worked on neighbourhood effects on mental health and gained interest in working with R. From June 2018 to May 2024 Nienke worked as a PhD candidate at the Department of Public Health at Erasmus University Medical Centre. She was part of the interdisciplinary initiative Smarter Choices for Better Health and its action line prevention. Nienke also completed the three year doctoral programme at The International Max Planck Research School for Population, Health and Data Science (IMPRS-PHDS) in Rostock, Germany and was a visiting student for 2 months in Rostock in 2022. In 2023 Nienke joined the PREPARE consortium as postdoctoral researcher investigating changes in birth outcomes during the covid-19 mitigation measures. Since June 2024 Nienke works as public health epidemiologist at GGD Hart voor Brabant.
