204 Chapter 7 research methods was present during all co-design and validation sessions. The co-design and validation sessions were not audio recorded and all researchers have had previous contact with the healthcare professionals of the HTC (pediatric hematologist, nurse, nurse practitioner and/or nurse consultant) before study initiation. Figure 1: Modified Metro Map for hemophilia showing the four layers. Data analysis Data from the available documentation about the care process, the interactive co-design sessions and validation sessions were analyzed and visualized in a Metro Map by two researchers (ESvH and CMAM). Potential disagreements or uncertainties during the analyzing and visualizing process were discussed and resolved before the next version was sent to the participating HTC for the next co-design or validation session. RESULTS Participants Five HTCs in the Netherlands participated in this study. Each HTC has its own organizational structure and treatment team (Table 1). From every HTC one nurse, nurse practitioner, nurse consultant and/or pediatric hematologist
