66 Chapter 4 (n = 124, 89.9%). The gender composition of our sample is consistent with the profession as a whole in the Netherlands (Statistics Netherlands, 2016, 2018). Almost all (n = 130, 94.2%) had a Western background. The average age of participants was 39.4 years old (SD = 11.3). The majority had quite a long term experience in teaching (Md 10-20 years). School weight was below average in slightly more than half of the participants. There were no relevant differences between the intervention group and the control group in terms of sociodemographic, clinical or professional characteristics. Descriptive characteristics of the participants are presented in Table 1.
