Chapter 9 202 ABOUT THE AUTHOR Anna Marzà Florensa was born on May 31st, 1994, in Santa Margarida de Montbui, Spain. In 2017 she obtained her BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In the same year, she moved to Utrecht, The Netherlands, to pursue a MSc degree in Epidemiology. She conducted an internship studying multimorbidity and migration and graduated in 2019 with a specialization in Clinical Epidemiology. In 2020, she took on a PhD position at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Global Health teams in the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, University Medical Center Utrecht, in which she investigated secondary prevention of coronary heart disease with an international approach. During her research, Anna was the coordinator of the international clinical audit SURF CHD II, and she took on an international research stay at the Institute for Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2022. She looks forward to pursing a career in epidemiology.
