120 In vivo validation was carried out to test the feasibility of our proposed method. Healthy volunteers underwent four TVUS scans acquired during four selected phases of the natural menstrual cycle, namely, during menstruation (Menses), LF, early luteal (EL), and LL phases. The proposed method was evaluated for its ability to distinguish the peristaltic patterns among the selected phases. The method was also evaluated in the context of IVF. TVUS recordings were performed on 81 patients during an IVF treatment cycle. Our validation aimed at testing the ability of the proposed UP features to predict the successful and unsuccessful pregnancy groups before ET into the uterine cavity.
