255 MRI Characteristics: A summary of all MRI characteristics can be seen in Table 10.3. Figure 10.3 shows several illustrative examples of adenomyosis. Thirty -six women received an MRI in advance of their first IVF/ICSI cycle, of which twelve women achieved pregnancy, and 24 did not. Seventy-eight women underwent MRI after fertility treatment, of which nineteen women became pregnant and 59 did not. There was no significant difference in terms of pregnancy observed between the group with MRI prior to fertility treatment and the group that had it afterwards (P=0.83, Table S4). Most women (83/124) had an MRI within five years of fertility treatment. No significant difference in terms of pregnancy rate was found when comparing these women to those received an MRI outside this timeframe (P= 0.91, Table S4) .
