Out of 296 patients undergoing hysterectomy, 131 (44.2%) received adenomyosis diagnosis based on histopathology. 34.4% (45/131) patients had concomitant uterine fibroids, and 53.4% (70/131) had concomitant endometriosis (as diagnosed by MRI or laparoscopy). In general, age, Body Mass Index (BMI), medical history, and clinical symptoms were comparable between patients with and without adenomyosis (p>.05).
